5th Annual Sevier Park Fest
5th Annual Sevier Park Fest was a huge success, despite some inclement weather! Thanks to everyone in the surround neighborhood and beyond who came out to celebrate with us!

4th Annual Sevier Park Fest
Our 4th Annual Sevier Park Fest was a huge success! Thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy the festivities. Through the festival, we raised over $13,000 to put towards continued improvements to the park.

June 5, 2015: The annual Board of Directors meeting was held at The Meet Room on 12th Ave. South.
May 1-2, 2015: The third annual Sevier Park Fest was held May 1-2 with a special ticketed concert featuring Johnnyswim and Penny and Sparrow. The concert took place in Sevier Park from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and was a huge success.
The fest continued on Saturday, May 2nd from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Sevier Park and along 12South with more great music on three stages, food, art, and fashion. Other local highlights included the El Jimador Lounge, Sevier Park Fest Criterium Race, Edley's Hot Wing Eating Contest, and the Las Paletas Kids Area. Saturday performances included Vinyl Thief, Zeke Duhon, Kelsey Waldon, Waterfall Wash, Youngest Daughter, Carmen Brandy, Nick Dittmier, Kimberly Wolff. The Saturday portion of the festival is always free to attend.
Sevier Park Fest is a benefit for the Friends of Sevier Park and celebrates the neighboring communities of 12South and Belmont/Hillsboro to promote local talent and businesses.

Do you have an interest in or expertise in fundraising? We need your ideas. Join us on the evening Sept. 24 at the home of David Thompson for a discussion of fundraising ideas to implement components of the park's master plan. Contact Ken Winter if you'd like to attend.
Sept. 21, 2013: Carriage House Clean Out
Friends gathered with the Metropolitan Historical Commission Sept. 21 to clean out the building so its future - as a possible cafe or other community structure - can be explored.
